What to Expect

Things to know for your trip

The weather along the South Carolina coast is generally warm from May to June and downright hot during July and August. It starts cooling off during September for a nice fall that usually lasts through November before getting really chilly in January.

Even on a hot day the wind can be chilly on the water, so you'll need to dress appropriately. We've provided some weather resources below and more details on what you do and don't need to bring.
